Invitation to Sponsor: The Boulder Library Foundation welcomes Boulder’s philanthropic and business community to engage in one of Boulder’s most anticipated fundraising events: Our 50 Year Gala. The gala will feature festive food and drink in the Boulder Main Library, a program featuring New York Times Best-Selling author Bonnie Garmus (Lessons in Chemistry) and the stories of lives forever changed by library programming. There will be a request from the podium that attendees make a generous donation. Fundraising goals: This year, the 50 Year Gala will take over both floors of the Boulder Main Library’s southern half - on a grander scale than ever - in celebration of the Foundation’s 50th anniversary. Last year’s Foundation gala, on the library’s north end, attracted 200 library enthusiasts, and netted more than $75,000, which directly supported Boulder Public Library’s mission to improve lives and build a stronger community. This year’s goals include: * Attract a New York Times Best-Selling Author: Bonnie Garmus (Lessons in Chemistry) has already committed! * Draw 300 attendees * Raise more than $200,000 for Boulder Public Library Event Format - September 26, 2024: VIP author reception 5:30-6:30 pm Cocktail reception, buffet, book sales and signings 6:30-8:00 pm Seated program over wine and dessert 8:00-9:30 pm Guests: 300 attendees expected; 2024 marks the Library Foundation's 50th anniversary and its fourth gala, with attendance rapidly growing Marketing: Print and electronic direct marketing; major print, digital and radio outlets; social media and local influencers Logistics Timeline: Table sponsorships on sale now.
